Tobacco is a global epidemic and one of the greatest preventable threats to human life. Every year, ๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ซ ๐ ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ฉ๐๐จ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ ๐๐ข๐ from tobacco-related diseases, while millions more suffer from ๐๐๐ง๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ, ๐ก๐๐๐ซ๐ญ ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐๐๐ฌ๐, ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐จ๐ค๐, ๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ข๐ซ๐๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฒ ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ง๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐๐ฌ, ๐๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ซ ๐ง๐จ๐ง-๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ง๐ข๐๐๐๐ฅ๐ ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐๐๐ฌ๐๐ฌ linked to tobacco use.โฃ

As we commemorate World No Tobacco Day 2026 under the theme โ๐๐ง๐ฆ๐๐ฌ๐ค๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ฉ๐ฉ๐๐๐ฅ โ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ข๐๐จ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐๐๐๐๐จ ๐๐๐๐ข๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง,โ we are reminded that the tobacco and nicotine industry continues to reinvent itself, using attractive packaging, flavours, social media influence, and sophisticated marketing techniques to recruit a new generation of consumers.โฃ
