Professor Alpha Condé's return is an aspiration of the people in Guinea

Professor Alpha Condé’s return is an aspiration of the people in Guinea

After decades of authoritarian rule, Professor Alpha Condé’s historic election as Guinea’s first democratic president in 2010 inspired hope for stability, growth, and improved living conditions. However, in September 2021, his mandate was brutally interrupted by a coup led by Mamadi Doumbouya.

The international community condemned this power grab, which plunged Guinea into uncertainty and violence. Despite baseless justifications, the facts are clear: President Condé’s leadership was democratically legitimate, and his ousting was unjustifiable.

*Why President Condé Must Return*

To restore constitutional order and stability in Guinea.
To preserve democratic gains and prevent authoritarianism.
To build on progress made in health, education, infrastructure, and economic growth.

*A Call to Action*

The international community, including the UN, African Union, and ECOWAS, must support President Condé’s return. Their credibility depends on it.

*Key Priorities for President Condé’s Second Term*

Fight corruption.
Improve infrastructure.
Promote job creation.
Strengthen democratic institutions.
Guarantee human rights and fundamental freedoms.

*Unity and Democracy*

President Condé’s return is crucial for national unity and safeguarding Guinea’s young democracy. His compatriots entrusted him with their destiny, and only they should decide his future through free and transparent elections.

*Join the Movement*

Support President Alpha Condé’s rightful return to power. Stand with the people of Guinea for democracy, stability, and progress.
