Alpha Commodities FISP 2022-2023 input distribution cheers Southern Province farmers

Farmers in Southern province have started collecting inputs under the Farmer Input Support Program (FISP)
Zimba District Agricultural Coordinator (DACO) ALFRED SIANJASE has confirmed to NAIS that the exercise commenced on Tuesday, 15th November, 2022 and the farmers are happy with the process.
The DACO has assured farmers that his office is working tirelessly to make sure that the intended 7,900 farmers collect the inputs in the coming week.
He further thanked Alpha Commodities for distributing fertilizer to the district on time.
Meanwhile Zimba District Commissioner ROBINSON MULAMFU is happy with the way the process is going and has implored farmers to collect their inputs.
The DC has projected a good harvest in the region due to the expected good rains and timely distribution of inputs by government.
And farmers have expressed gratitude to government and Alpha Commodities for distributing the inputs to the district.
JOLAM NANKUPAISYA said the farmers are happy that they are now able to collect their inputs and can now continue with their farming activities.
Alpha Commodities Regional Manager for Southern province CHARLES CHALO has assured farmers that his company has enough stock in all the districts for them to collect.
