Repssi Zambia, MCDA, Conrad N. Hilton Foundation empower Mumbwa’s Ruth Chilimbila

Ruth Chilimbila, a beneficiary of the Happy Mother Healthy Baby Project and an adolescent caregiver from Mumbwa, shares how the project has changed her life and improved the wellbeing of her family through the integration of Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) into Early Childhood Development (ECD).
The project was implemented by Repssi Zambia in partnership with the Mumbwa Child Development Agency (MCDA) is funded by the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation.
Preaching an inclusivity, through encouraging active involvement of men in caregiving, Zambian Children Young People and Women in Development Kwilanzi Newspaper Zambia (ZCYPWD -KNZ) Executive President Derrick Sinjela applauded Repssi Zambia, MCDA, Conrad N. Hilton Foundation for supporting mothers and young children,
Male caregivers were trained to support their spouses during pregnancy and early childhood, actively participate in raising their children without neglecting their own wellbeing.
