Mutale Mwanza, Chichi Daisy, back at court.

JOURNALIST and media personality Mutale Mwanza has arrived at the Lusaka Magistrate’s Court, where she is scheduled to know the Director of Public Prosecution’s (DPP) position regarding the case in which she is charged with cyber harassment.
The court will hear whether DPP Gilbert Phiri has allowed the withdrawal of the matter by media personality Daisy Lusumpa, alias Chichi Daisy, who is the complainant.
At the last hearing, lawyers representing Chichi Daisy, applied for the withdrawal of the case at the office of the DPP.
If the DPP agrees that the case be withdrawn, Ms Mwanza, aka M-Nation, will be set free, likely with some conditions attached.
But if he refuses, the matter will continue with trial and the State will call more witnesses to testify against Ms Mwanza.
It is alleged that on November 7, 2024, the accused used her Facebook page called M-Nation with the intent to intimidate, harass or cause emotional distress to Chichi Daisy.
Ms Mwanza, dressed in white, was earlier seen talking to her lawyer, looking calm.
Chichi Daisy, clad in a short sleeved coffee brown long dress, is also in court.
