B Lab Africa has released its official Post-Summit Report following the highly successful B Lab Africa Summit 2025, held from 2–3 October 2025 at the Serengeti Golf & Wildlife Estate in Johannesburg.
The Summit convened over 180 leaders, entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, academics, and impact practitioners from 11 countries, affirming Africa’s growing leadership in climate action, ESG impact investment and inclusive economic transformation.
Under the theme “Climate Modalities, ESG Impact Investment & Inclusive Growth: Africa’s Readiness to Take Action,” the Summit highlighted Africa’s shift from policy intention to practical implementation where sustainability ambitions are now being translated into measurable, scalable business action.
The report captures insights from 30+ speakers across 20 sessions, covering climate finance, agriculture, education, youth-led innovation, renewable energy, data and AI, and the evolution of ESG governance. Keynote speaker Dr. Pali Lehohla, former Statistician-General of South Africa, called for a unified commitment to evidence-based decision-making and climate accountability, stating that “the link with action is what separates insight from transformation.”
