As a local businessperson and Independent Councilor for NJAME ward of Chirundu District, in the Southern Province, I wish to joins various stakeholders, the Church, NGO, Cooperating partners and other political leaders to praise United Party for National Development (UPND) New Dawn Administration led by President Hakainde Sammy Hichilema on the passing of Bill7, which is now legally referred to as Act. No. 13 of 2025.
Colleagues, I have no doubt this will bring development as some constituencies will be divided as a result people will not only see it but will feel it! that President Hichilema has brought development.

It is very good that some Patriotic Front (PF) Members of Parliament (MPs) and independent peers saw the need to vote for Bill7 of 2025 as it will bring development and more money through Constituency Development Fund (CDF) to the local people through out Zambia’s 116 districts of the ten (10) province; Central, Copperbelt, Eastern, Luapula, Lusaka, Muchinga, Northern, North-Western, Southern and Western.
