The Zambia Institute of Marketing in collaboration with the Information and Communications Technology Association of Zambia (ICTAZ) and the Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply (ZIPS) officially launched the promotional kick-start of the 5th African Marketing Confederation (AMC), Technology Information Confederation Africa (TICON Africa) and the newly included African Supply Chain Confederation (ASCON) Conference at the InterContinental Hotel Lusaka on Monday 16th March 2026.
The conference will take place in Livingstone, Zambia’s tourism capital, from 25 – 27 September 2026, following Zambia’s successful bid to host this landmark continental gathering.
Under the umbrella theme “Africa Rising: Three Conferences. One United Movement.”, the event will bring together leaders in marketing, technology, and supply chain to explore how Africa’s strengths can translate into global impact through leadership, brand power, innovation, and value creation.

The launch was graced by Mrs. Margret M. Chikuba, Director at the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry, representing the Guest of Honour Hon. Chipoka Mulenga MP, reaffirming government support for marketing, technology, and supply chain as key drivers of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
Present at the launch were Mr. Mwewa Besa – ZIM President, Dr. Clement Sinyangwe – ICTAZ President, Mr. Daniel Kabamba – ZIPSIP President, Ms. Helen Mclntee Carlise – AMC President, Mr. David Gowu – TICON President, Mr. Ronald Mlalazi – ASCON President and Jannie Zaaiman TICON Africa and Organizing Committee Chairperson, Mr. Nigel Tattersall Founder of AMC, Mr. Matongo Matamwandi Honorary Member – AMC to mention but a few.
