The Information Communication University (ICU) and the Zambia Research and Development Centre (ZRDC) have provided scholarships and a combined K30,000 in cash prizes to two Zambian pageant winners to support their upcoming international competitions.
Miss Charm Zambia 2025, Kutemba Njapau, received K20,000 and Miss Tourism Zambia 2025, Monde Moola, was given K10,000. The funds are intended to assist with their travel and expenses as they prepare to represent the nation in Vietnam and China, respectively.

Dr. Richard Silumbe, Chairman of the ICU and ZRDC, presented the donations, emphasizing the institutions’ commitment to supporting local talent.
“We need to support talent like the pageants who are ambassadors for the country and are carrying the Zambian flag high on a global stage,” Dr. Silumbe stated.
Njapau, who will compete in Vietnam in November 2025, thanked the organizations and appealed to other well-wishers for additional financial assistance to cover her remaining budget shortfalls.
Moola, who is set to travel to China in September 2025, also expressed her gratitude. She stated the funds will greatly help with her wardrobe and other costs but noted that her total budget is K100,000 and she hopes for more support.
