From the heart of Dubai, a profound moment of celebration has unfolded. Our beloved Senior Pastor, Bishop Dr. Joshua H.K. Banda, has been conferred the distinguished title of Professor of Practice (Social Sciences) by The Thames International University, Paris, France, during the prestigious Asia–Arab Education and Leadership Summit 2025.
This recognition is a testament to decades of unwavering faith, academic rigor, and compassionate service. For over thirty-four years, Bishop Banda has faithfully embodied the mission of Christ through both scholarship and tangible acts of transformation — from the pioneering Operation Project Paseli, empowering women out of prostitution, to the far-reaching Circle of Hope Project, a faith-based health initiative now impacting lives in six provinces across Zambia.
In addition to this conferment, Prof Banda was also honored with the Asia–Arab Excellence Award, acknowledging his unwavering dedication, extensive experience, remarkable achievements, and invaluable contributions towards the betterment of nation and society.
As a church family, we celebrate this milestone with profound gratitude to God Almighty, who continues to elevate His servant for global influence. We also honor Pastor Gladys Z.M. Banda, whose steadfast partnership and co-leadership have been integral to these life-changing missions.
