London, United Kingdom | Kigali, Rwanda: The Justina Mutale Foundation and Africa Leadership University (ALU) are pleased to announce a targeted partnership to expand access to higher education for talented students from Southern Africa.
Through this collaboration, the Justina Mutale Foundation will recommend students for grants and full-fee admission at ALU, supporting high-achieving young people from financially constrained backgrounds in the region.
Africa Leadership University operates two campuses: its main campus in Kigali, Rwanda, and the Africa Leadership College of Higher Education in Pamplemousses, Mauritius.
ALU offers innovative, skill-based degree programmes designed to prepare students for leadership, entrepreneurship, and impact across Africa.
Dr. Justina Mutale, Founder and President of the Justina Mutale Foundation, said:

Under the partnership, the Justina Mutale Foundation will identify and recommend up to 10 students per intake who meet ALU’s admission requirements.
ALU will work closely with the Foundation to guide applicants through programme details, application timelines, and admissions processes, ensuring a smooth and supported journey into university life..
The first cohort of Justina Mutale Foundation-recommended students is expected to begin their studies at ALU’s Kigali campus in Rwanda in May 2026.
