Grace and peace to you, Reformed Church in Zambia (RCZ) Misisi Congregation.
Today, the Sunday, 28th of December, 2025, marks the closing of a chapter that began on Sunday, 8th April, 2018, and the opening of another chapter written by God Himself.

As my family and I stand before you today to bid farewell, our hearts are filled with gratitude, love, and deep appreciation. This place has not just been a congregation to us; it has been a home, a family, and a ground where God shaped and strengthened us.

Every season we walked through together—whether joyful or challenging—taught us priceless lessons of faith, patience, and love. You stood with us, prayed with us, laughed with us, and even mourned together. For that, we are forever thankful.

As we prepare to leave, we carry with us precious memories, meaningful experiences, and relationships that time and distance can never erase. Misisi will always have a special place in our hearts, and we pray that the bond we share in Christ will remain unbroken.

Thank you for walking this ministry journey with us as we proclaimed the name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Reverend Daniel Shamvu of the Reformed Church in Zambia (RCZ).

Leaving you is not easy, because you have become part of who we are. We will miss you dearly, but we trust God’s guidance as we continue to serve His people wherever He sends us.

We go knowing that we are blessed because of you, and we leave you blessed in the mighty name of our Lord. Stay blessed until we meet again. May God’s peace guard your hearts, and may His grace remain with you always.

AMEN. – Reverend Daniel Shamvu – Reformed Church of Zambia (RCZ)
