ECZ to launch delimitation exercise

The Electoral Commission of Zambia –ECZ- is set to launch the delimitation exercise and update stakeholders on the roadmap for the 2026 General Election.
The event will take place on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 10:00 hours at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre, Old Wing in Lusaka.
According to a stakeholder notice issued by ECZ Corporate Affairs Manager Patricia Luhanga, the meeting will bring together political parties, civil society organisations, and faith-based organisations.
The delimitation exercise is a crucial stage in the electoral process, involving the review and adjustment of electoral boundaries ahead of the 2026 General Election.
Ms. Luhanga added that the Commission will also use the occasion to brief stakeholders on progress and timelines outlined in the election roadmap.
