The Africa Quantum Summit 2025: Kenya Edition is set to take place on October 23-24, 2025, at Strathmore University in Nairobi, Kenya.

This landmark event, organized by QuantumKe in partnership with the Africa Quantum Consortium and Strathmore University, will bring together leaders, researchers, and innovators from across the continent and beyond to explore the transformative potential of quantum technologies.

Themed “Empowering Africa’s Quantum Future: Innovation, Collaboration, and Inclusion,” the summit aims to establish Africa as a strategic contributor to the global quantum revolution.

Aligned with the United Nations’ International Year of Quantum Science and Technology (IYQ 2025), this hybrid event will provide a platform for stakeholders to discuss critical thematic areas, including quantum diplomacy, education, research, applications, and entrepreneurship.

The summit will feature a comprehensive program, including keynote addresses, panel discussions, technical workshops, start-up pitch sessions, and networking opportunities.

Participants will examine how quantum technologies can revolutionize key sectors such as computing, healthcare, finance, cybersecurity, and education.

As a hybrid event, the Africa Quantum Summit 2025 will provide both in-person and virtual access, ensuring inclusive participation from across the continent and the global quantum community.

This approach reflects the summit’s commitment to democratizing access to quantum knowledge and opportunities.

The summit is expected to generate a comprehensive strategic roadmap for Africa’s quantum future, identifying priority areas for research, investment, and policy development. Key outcomes will include strengthened regional collaborations, enhanced technical capacity, and increased visibility of African contributions to quantum science and technology.
