Lusaka, Zambia – Legendary South African Singer, Songwriter, Actress, Entrepreneur, Humanitarian and Teacher, dubbed the “Princess of Africa”, Yvonne Chaka Chaka is in Zambia.
She arrived aboard South African airways on Tuesday, 13th December 2022. The South African Music icon received a warm welcome from the cast of Mpali which recently won Best Television series at the 2022 Ngoma Awards, and local fans. Yvonne Chaka Chaka has been invited to the country by the Mpali Cast to feature in an episode of Mpali.
Speaking when Chaka Chaka toured MultiChoice Zambia Offices, Leah Kooma, MultiChoice Zambia Managing, Leah Kooma thanked Chaka Chaka for coming to Zambia, Kooma said Yvonne Chaka Chaka is a legend and an inspiration to the young generation. She further said MultiChoice is happy that Mpali and the Zambezi Magic Channel considered having Chaka here in Zambia.
Meanwhile, Yvonne Chaka Chaka thanked MultiChoice for exposing local talent.
“It is important to support different people, culture and acknowledge what we do as Africans, MultiChoice’s support to local talent is good,” she said.
